Dollar changes hands in upper 123 yen zone in early Tokyo deals

The U.S. dollar changed hands at the upper 123 yen level early Thursday in Tokyo.

At 9 a.m., the dollar traded at 123.90-92 yen compared with 123. 75-85 yen in New York and 123.52-53 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Wednesday.

The euro fetched 1.0938-0940 dollars and 135.54-56 yen against 1.0942-0952 dollars and 135.48-58 yen in New York and 1.1015-1016 dollars and 136.06-10 yen in Tokyo late Wednesday afternoon. Endi
