Senior CPC official meets communist party of Russia delegation

Senior Communist Party of China (CPC) official Liu Qibao on Wednesday met a delegation from the Communist Party of Russia.

Liu, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee said the China-Russia strategic partnership of coordination had advanced thanks to the leadership of presidents of the two countries.

Liu, also head of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, said party-to-party relations constitute a crucial part of bilateral ties.

The CPC would like to increase exchange and cooperation with the Communist Party of Russia and promote the long-standing good relations.

Dmitry Novikov, who is leading the delegation, hailed China's economic and social achievements and called on the two parties to increase experience sharing and deepen mutually-beneficial cooperation.

The delegation will conclude the China trip on Thursday. Endit
