French stock market index up 0.69 pct on Tuesday

The French stock market benchmark index CAC 40 gained a slight advance of 0.69 percent to close at 5,032.47 points on Tuesday, up 34.37 points.

With positive outcomes of the Greece and Iran issues, the CAC 40 of Paris closed slightly higher on Tuesday with 30 of the 40 selected companies gaining advance.

The top three gainers on Tuesday were Safran, up 2.04 percent, Sanofi, up 1.68 percent, and Essilor Intl., up 1.67 percent.

The three companies whose stocks dropped most on Tuesday were Peugeot, down 2.06 percent, Valeo, down 1.62 percent, and Renault, down 1.02 percent.

In the previous trading day, the CAC 40 gained an advance of 1.94 percent to close at 4,998.10 points, up 95.03 points. Endit
