Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif said a much-anticipated nuclear deal could not be ready on Monday while urging world powers for more diplomacy, Iranian media reported.

Zarif answered "No" when asked whether the nuclear deal could be reached Monday night, semi-official Iran Students' News Agency reported. (Iran-Nuclear Deal)

WASHINGTON -- Wisconsin State Governor Scott Walker on Monday announced his decision to enter the 2016 U.S. presidential election, becoming the 15th Republican candidate to join the race.

Walker delivered his campaign speech in Waukesha, Wisconsin, Monday afternoon, making such promises as to repeal the Affordable Care Act, commonly known as ObamaCare. ATHENS -- Greece's government announced on Monday evening that the bank holiday introduced on June 29 will be extended once again to June 16.

The laconic press release of the Finance Ministry that the banks will remain closed also on Tuesday and Wednesday this week was issued after the European Central Bank's (ECB) Governing Council decided during a teleconference held earlier on Monday to leave the financing cap for Greek banks through the Emergency Liquidity Assistance (ELA) unchanged. WASHINGTON -- The International Monetary Fund (IMF) said Monday that Greece missed a new repayment worth of about 456 million euros to it by the day after the country failed to make a 1.5 billion-euro repayment due on June 30.

"The SDR 360 million principal repayment (about 456 million euros) due by Greece to the IMF was not received," said Gerry Rice, director of Communications at the IMF in a statement. (US-Greek Arrears-IMF)
