Dollar trades in mid-123 yen range in early Tokyo deals

The U.S. dollars traded in the mid- 123 yen range early Tuesday in Tokyo, slightly higher from its overnight levels in New York.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 123.61-62 yen compared with 123.40-50 yen in New York and 123.32-34 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Monday.

The euro fetched 1.0983-0984 dollars and 135.77-78 yen against 1.0995-1005 dollars and 135.76-86 yen in New York and 1.1097-1099 dollars and 136.85-89 yen in Tokyo late Monday afternoon. Endi
