Tajikistan launches training camp for AFC U19 Championship qualifiers

Tajikistan launched training camp to get better prepared for the AFC U-19 Championship qualifying tournament to be held here in October, Tajikistan's Football Federation said Friday.

The training will run through July 17 and the Tajik team is scheduled to play against the country's Istiqlol FC on July 16.

Tajikistan has been drawn with Iraq, Bahrain and the Maldives in Group F of U-19 Championship qualifying tournament. Tajikistan will face Iraq on Oct. 2, Bahrain on Oct. 4 and the Maldives on Oct. 6.

The Tajikistan U-19 team, coached by Salohiddin Gafurov, consists of 23 players, including 3 goalkeepers, 8 defenders, 6 midfielders and 6 strikers. Endi
