HONG KONG, July 10 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake measuring 7.0 on the Richter scale jolted Solomon Islands on Friday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 20.0 km, was initially determined to be at 9.3 degrees south latitude and 158.4 degrees east longitude. Endi
