French stock market index up 2.55 pct on Thursday

The French stock market benchmark index CAC 40 gained an advance of 2.55 percent to close at 4,757.22 points on Thursday, up 118.20 points.

The CAC 40 of Paris closed with 39 of the 40 selected companies gaining advance.

The top three gainers on Thursday were Credit Agricole, up 4.14 percent, Capgemini, up 3.89 percent, and Peugeot, up 3.78 percent.

The only whose stock dropped most on Thursday was Alstom, down 0.31 percent.

In the previous trading day, the CAC 40 gained an advance of 0.75 percent to close at 4,639.02 points, up 34.28 points. Endit
