European Union President Donald Tusk said on Tuesday that Greek proposals including detailed reform plan should be presented by Thursday at the latest.

Tusk made the remarks in a press conference after a Eurozone summit meeting in Brussels on Greece debt crisis.

"We stand ready to do whatever is necessary to ensure financial stability of Eurozone as a whole," Tusk said.

Tusk said all heads of state and government of the European Union member states will meet on Sunday, or July 12.

He said all sides of the negotiations share responsibility for the current status quo and that is why he called leaders to try to find a consensus which will be the common success with no losers or winners.

"Until now I have avoided talking about deadlines, but tonight I have to say it loud and clear -- the final deadline ends this week. All of us are responsible for the crisis, and all of us have a responsibility to resolve it," he said. Endit
