Sampaoli: Chile will continue to attack Argentina

Xinhua, July 4, 2015 Adjust font size:

Chile's coach Jorge Sampaoli said his side will not change the way they play when they meet Argentina in the final of the Copa America here on Saturday.

Chile's opponent Argentina is in top attacking form after thrashing Paraguay 6-1 in the semifinals, while the hosts beat Peru 2-1 in the other top four match.

However Sampaoli expressed that Chile will not change the way it played.

"We will use the system we have utilized all through the Copa. That is the system and the defined style that has allowed us to get where we are now, so we will keep trying to play in the same way," the 55-year-old said on Friday at his side's pre-match press conference ahead of the final.

"These hours in the build-up are endless," he said. "I want the game to start now. Everything is ready. The only thing left is the final chat, which will include aspects on the rival. But this is dragging on." Endi
