Dollar trades in lower 123 yen range in early Tokyo trading

The U.S. dollar traded in the lower 123 yen range early Thursday in Tokyo deals, slightly higher from its overnight levels in New York.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 123.32-34 yen compared with 123.12-22 yen in New York and 122.61-63 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Wednesday.

The euro fetched 1.1036-1037 dollars and 136.11-13 yen against 1.1048-1058 dollars and 136.09-19 yen in New York and 1.1112-1113 dollars and 136.25-29 yen in Tokyo late Wednesday afternoon. Endi
