Besiktas receives $14.5 million for Demba Ba transfer

The Turkish super league club Besiktas Tuesday confirmed the transfer on their website that Chinese Super League club Shanghai Shenhua signed Besiktas's Senegalese striker Demba Ba.

The Black Eagle will receive a 13 million euros ($14.5 million) transfer fee, as the statement noted.

Ba played for English Premier League clubs West Ham, Newcastle United and Chelsea before joining Istanbul side last year. The Senegalese international scored 27 goals in 44 matches for Besiktas this past season. Endi
