Chinese Premier Li Keqiang on Tuesday agreed here with his French counterpart Manuel Valls on expanding cooperation in industry, energy and third party markets.

Li, who is on a four-day official visit to France, said China is willing to advance practical cooperation and cement mutual trust with France. (China-France-Cooperation)

WASHINGTON -- U.S. economy likely expanded at an annual rate of about 2.5 percent in the second quarter, with support from rebounding consumer demand, said Stanley Fischer, vice chairman of the U.S. Federal Reserve.

According to his remarks at the University of Oxford released on the Fed's website on Tuesday, the senior Fed official believed there are grounds for optimism that economic growth will be sufficient to promote further gains in labor market conditions. (U.S.-economy)

BRUSSELS -- The Eurogroup will hold another teleconference Wednesday morning to discuss new proposals from Greece, said the spokesman of Eurogroup President Jeroen Dijsselbloem on Tuesday.

VIENNA -- The most recent round of nuclear talks between Iran and world powers over Iran's long-disputed nuclear program is to be extended to July 7, said a spokesperson for the U.S. Department of State on Tuesday.

"P5+1 and Iran have decided to extend JPOA (Iran Joint Plan of Action) measures until July 7 to allow more time for negotiations to reach a long-term solution," Marie Harf, senior adviser for strategic communications at the U.S. State Department said. (Iran-Nuke) Endit
