Midfielder Felix Klaus joined Hannover from relegated Freiburg, both sides confirmed on Tuesday.

The German U-21 international penned a four-year deal keeping him with the "Reds" until June 2019. He is Hannover's fourth new arrival of the summer transfer window.

"It makes us very happy that Felix Klaus opted for our team despite many offers from other Bundesliga outfits. He will be an integral part of our young team as he brings the best requirements to strengthen our team," Hannover's sporting director Dirk Dufner told the club's official homepage.

The new arrival will turn up on July 16 for his first trainings session, as he was part of Germany's squad during the UEFA U-21 European Championship in Czech Republic. "After the long season and the subsequent Under-21 European Championships he needs holidays to recover. We agreed that Felix Klaus joins us on July 16 for his first trainings session," Hannover's coach Michael Frontzeck said.

The 22-year-old new arrival provided seven assists and seven goals in 52 appearances following two years with the "Breisgauer".

Hannover encounter newly promoted Darmstadt at their first game of the season 2015-2016 on Aug. 15. Endi
