Australian police nab counterfeiter

Australian police raided a workshop where a suspect was allegedly manufacturing fake money.
Western Australian police said on Tuesday they had discovered a man, 33, making counterfeit 50 Australian dollar (38 U.S. dollar) notes, with a total of 14,000 fake Australian dollars (10,740 U.S. dollars) seized.
Police said the man tried to destroy a laptop computer and some of the notes that were near completion.
Officers seized more than 200 semi-complete notes and 81 finished counterfeit notes.
They also seized drugs and computers, scanners, printers, stencils and dye used to make the fake money.
The drugs seized include methyl amphetamine, also known as "ice ", and smoking implements. Endi
