Vietnamese top badminton player to compete at Chinese Taipei Open

Vietnam's top badminton player Nguyen Tien Minh will take part in the Yonex Open Chinese Taipei to be held from July 14-19, local newspaper Vietnam News reported Monday.

Minh, ranked No.35 in the world, is not seeded at the 200,000-U.S. dollar tournament. The top two seeds are Chinese Chen Long and Jan Jorgensen of Denmark.

According to the draw, Minh will meet Andre Tedjono of Indonesia in the first round.

Another Vietnamese representative, the world's No.49 Vu Thi Trang, will compete from the qualifying round. Endi
