Albania's budget revenue increases mainly due to non-tax incomes

Albanian state budget revenue collections grew by 7.3 billion lek (58.4 million U.S. dollars), or 5 percent higher than in the same period of the previous year, the Ministry of Finance said on Friday.
According to the Ministry of Finance in its financial indicators for the first five months of this year, the state budget collected revenue of 151.9 billion Lek in the first five months of 2015.
The Ministry of Finance said that the biggest revenue source were the non-tax revenue and social insurance contributions.
State budget collected 98.4 billion lek in tax and customs revenue, representing almost the same amount collected during the same period of 2014.
The profit tax revenue collected by the state budget amounted to 11.8 billion lek, or 24 percent higher than in the same period of the past year and Lek 1.2 billion more than planned.
The excise taxes registered an 11.2 percent increase year on year, amounting to 13.9 billion lek. Personal income taxes grew by 3.2 percent. Endit
