BiH, Switzerland to enhance air traffic cooperation

Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) government on Thursday adopted a Proposal Agreement over air traffic cooperation with Switzerland.

Under the agreement, the two countries will work to establish more air traffic between the two sides, officials said.

It will increase flow of passengers and goods, thus promoting bilateral trade and enhancing economic cooperation, they said. The agreement will soon be presented to BiH Presidency for signatory.

BiH continued to expand its air traffic in recent several years, opening more direct flights with European countries.

Sarajevo International Airport, the largest airport in the Balkan country, dealt with a fast-increasing number of passengers in the past several years. In 2014, it handled some 700,000 passengers, a new record. Endit
