According to the reports, the incident took place when a bomb blast attacked a vehicle of the security forces in the Mir Ali area of North Waziristan, restive tribal region bordering Afghanistan.

Security personnel were on their routine patrol when their vehicle came under attack.

The bomb was planted on the roadside and was detonated with a remote-controlled device.
