Eurogroup president Jeroen Dijsselbloem said on Monday the new proposals from the Greek government which came in this morning were "a positive step" in the process and a deal was possible this week.

"A new proposal from the Greek government came in this morning which we welcomed today, which is seen as a positive step in the process," Dijsselbloem said at a press conference after a Eurogroup meeting here, but added the institutions had had little time to go over the proposal details.

"As I said, it's a welcome step, and we consider it a positive direction, so I think it's also an opportunity to get this deal this week," Dijsselbloem added. Endit
