Tokyo shares end higher by break on bargain hunting

Tokyo shares ended the morning session higher Monday on bargain hunting and hopes that Greece and its creditors may yet forge a plan preventing from a Greek default.

The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average gained 161.07 points, or 0. 80 percent, from Friday to end the morning at 20,335.31.

The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange was up 11.06 points, or 0.68 percent, to 1, 642.07. Endi
