Vietnam wins 222 golds in international sport in six months

Vietnam has won 222 gold medals in international sports events in the first six months of 2015, the country's General Department of Sports and Physical Training said on Friday.

At the latest event, the 28th Southeast Asian (SEA) Games in Singapore, Vietnamese sports delegation won 73 gold medals and set record in 12 events.

This helped Vietnam rank the third among 11 countries joining the games, Vietnam's state-run news agency VNA quoted the department as saying. Endi
