Austria Wien' s goalkeeper Heinz Lindner joins Frankfurt

The Austrian international goalkeeper moved from Austria Wien to Frankfurt on a free transfer, the "Eagles" announced on Wednesday.

The 24-year-old custodian signed a two-year contract, which keeps him with the "Eagles" until June 2017.

"Heinz Lindner is an ambitious and developable goalkeeper, who is known for his good reflexes. In addition, he has gained a considerable international experience through his caps with the national team and his team," Frankfurt' s sporting director Bruno Huebner said.

Heinz Lindner made overall 166 appearances for Austria Wien. He played besides that six UEFA Champions League encounters last season.

"At Frankfurt I want to take the next step in my career. I' m now full of euphoria and excitement. I want to prove myself in the Bundesliga," the new arrival said.

Eintracht Frankfurt completed the last Bundesliga season on the 9th place of the standings. Endi
