State Council appoints officials

China's State Council on Tuesday appointed new officials and removed others from their posts.

Wang Zhongwei becomes director of the State Council Counselors' Office, and Chen Jiusong deputy director of the State Bureau for Letters and Calls.

Chen Jinyu was removed from the directorship of the Counselors' Office. Wang Yupu was removed as deputy head of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and Dong Baohua as deputy director of the State Administration of Cultural Heritage. Endi
