Norway edged Cote D'Ivoire 3-1 and reached the Round of 16 as the runners-up of Group B here on Monday at the FIFA Women' s World Cup 2015.

Ada Hegerberg broke the deadlock in the 6th minute after a deftly firing home from an acute angle. In the 62nd minute, the 19-year-old enlarged the score to 2-0 in a one on one situation.

Five minutes later, the veteran midfielder Solveig Gulbrandsen' s header in the close range locked the victory for Norway, but Ange Nguessan' s powerful long shot pulled one goal back for Cote D'Ivoire in the 71st minute.

Norway ranked the 2nd in Group B with the victory, behind Germany on goal difference. The runners-up of Group F will be their next opponents. Endi
