Germany smash Thailand 4-0 and reach round of 16

Germany defeated Thailand 4-0 and reached the Round of 16 here on Monday at the FIFA Women' s World Cup 2015.

Melanie Leupolz broke the ice in the 24th minute with a looping header off a corner kick, but Thailand tenacity kept the score 0-1 till the end of the first half.

The substitute Lena Petermann' s two splendid headers enlarge Germen' s advantages to 3-0 from the 56th to the 58th minute. What' s more, Sara Daebritz finished the show by an easy tap in after she was left unmarked by the Thai defence on the back post.

Germany secured the top place of the Group B after the match, it means they will face easier opponent in the knock-out stages. Endi
