Nigeria to camp athletes ahead of IAAF World Youth Championships

Nigeria has invited 15 athletes to camp ahead of the Commonwealth Youth Games and International IAAF World Youth Championships, an official said on Monday.

The athletes would resume at the camp on June 15, Omatseye Nesiama, the Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN), technical director told reporters in Lagos, the nation's commercial hub.

The IAAF World Youth Championships is scheduled for July 15-19 in Cali, Colombia, while the Commonwealth Youth Games is scheduled for Sept. 5-12 in Samoa. [ Nesiama urged all nominated athletes and coaches to report at the CAA/AFN High Performance Center at the University of Port Harcourt in southern Rivers Sate, latest by June 17. Endi
