1st LD: Sudanese president spotted outside S. African hotel: report

Xinhua, June 15, 2015 Adjust font size:

Sudanese President Omar al- Bashir has been spotted outside a South African hotel amid rumors that he has left South Africa when a South African court is hearing an application for his arrest, local media reported on Monday.

The South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) said one of its reporters saw al-Bashir outside a hotel near the Sandton International Convention Center where the 25th African Union (A) Summit was taking place.

But other reports said that a plane carrying al-Bashir has left South Africa from the Waterkloof Airbase near Pretoria. All these reports have not been officially verified. Endi
