Singapore stocks close 0.92 pct lower

Singapore stocks finished 0.92 lower on Monday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) down 30.72 points, or 0.92 percent, to close at 3,323.13.

A total of 1.05 billion shares changed hands with turnover of 937 million Singapore dollars (699 million U.S. dollars).

Decliners outnumbered gainers 305 to 127, while 530 others finished unchanged.

The STI index gained 6.18 points, or 0.18 percent, to close at 3,353.85 on Friday. Endi
