Lorenzo wins Catalonia MotoGP to make it 4 in a row

Xinhua, June 15, 2015 Adjust font size:

Jorge Lorenzo won the Catalonia Grand Prix in Barcelona on Sunday to claim his fourth consecutive win in a row in Moto GP.

The Mallorcan rider finished ahead of Valentinio Rossi on a good day for the Yamaha bikes, while Dani Pedrosa finished third.

Defending World Champion Marc Marquez didn' t have such a good day as he fell on the second lap of the race to see himself distanced at the top of the riders' Championship.

Rossi remains leader of the title race, while Lorenzo is now just one point behind him.

Johann Zarco won the Moto2 race ahead of Spanish duo of Alex Rins and Esteve Rabat. Zarco' s win takes him further ahead of the Moto 2 riders' championship, while on Moto 3 championship leader Danny Kent had few problems in what was a relatively routine win. Endi
