Two weeks before the start of Wimbledon Nicolas Mahut and Camila Giorgi respectively won the ATP and WTA grass tournament in Rosmalen on Sunday.

The 33-year-old French qualifier Mahut beat second seeded David Goffin from Belgium 7-6(1), 6-1 in the final. The world number 97 player had already won the Dutch ATP tournament in 2013, also as a qualifier.

Earlier on Sunday the 23-year-old Italian Camila Giorgi, fifth seeded in Rosmalen, beat Belinda Bencic (4) from Switzerland 7-5, 6-3 in the womens's final.

It was the first WTA tournament title for the world number 35 player. Endi
