Bahrain's High Criminal Court on Thursday in its verdict ordered stripping of citizenship of 56 suspects in connection with a terrorist plot.

The case involved a total of 61 suspects of which 33 were arrested while others charged in absentia.

"The accused have been charged sentences ranging from life term to three years in prison,"he said.
