Urgent: U.S. dollar rises on upbeat economic data

The U.S. dollar soared against other major currencies on Thursday as the country's economic data came out overall positive.

In late New York trading, the euro declined to 1.1264 dollars from 1.1316 dollars in the previous session, while the dollar bought 123.40 Japanese yen, higher than 122.70 yen of the previous session. Endite
