1st LD Writethru: Bomb explodes in N.E. Indian town after troop raiding of rebels in Myanmar

A bomb exploded at the office complex of Moreh police station in Chandel district of the northeast Indian state of Manipur close to the Indo-Myanmar border Wednesday afternoon, said local media.

No casualty has been reported so far, local TV channel Times Now said.

After the explosion took place at around 18:00 p.m. and police cordoned off the area, said Press Trust of India.

The incident took place one day after Indian troops raided two rebel camps in Myanmar in retaliation of the killing of 18 Indian soldiers by the rebels last week at the India-Myanmar border. Endi
