Singapore stocks close 0.93 percent higher

Singapore stocks finished higher on Wednesday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) up 30. 64 points, or 0.93 percent, to close at 3,325.77.

A total of 1.20 billion shares changed hands with turnover of 1. 14 billion Singapore dollars (850.2 million U.S. dollars).

Gainers outnumbered decliners 239 to 180, while 542 others finished unchanged.

The STI index lost 25.20 points, or 0.76 percent, to close at 3, 295.13 on Tuesday. Endi
