Dollar trades in lower 124 yen zone in early Tokyo deals

The U.S. dollar traded in the lower 124 yen zone Wednesday morning in Tokyo deals, almost unchanged from its overnight levels in New York.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 124.35-40 yen compared with 124.30-40 yen in New York and 124.53-55 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Tuesday.

The euro fetched 1.1292-1294 dollars and 140.45-46 yen against 1.1277-1287 dollars and 140.25-35 yen in New York and 1.1291-1293 dollars and 140.61-65 yen in Tokyo late Tuesday afternoon. Endi
