Costa Rica holds Spain 1-1 in women's World Cup

Costa Rica held 1-1 with fellow debutants Spain in Group E in the Women's World Cup in Canada on Tuesday.

Spain opened the scoring with a Vicky Losada goal after 13 minutes but just one minute later Raquel Rodriguez Cedeno equalized for Costa Rica.

In the second half, although Spain had the upper hand for much of the match, they missed several chances to score more goals. Endi
