Chinese Premier Li Keqiang met with Angolan President Jose Eduardo dos Santos in Beijing on Tuesday.
Li, who visited the African country in May last year, spoke highly of the active implementation of consensus reached by the two countries during the visit.
China is ready to transform the bilateral cooperation from the traditional areas of raw materials and project contracts to equipment, technology and investment cooperation, Li said.
He said the two sides should strengthen cooperation in areas including petrifaction, iron and steel, building materials and textiles, as well as infrastructure.
Li called on the two sides to strengthen financial cooperation and expand more channels to support bilateral trade and investment cooperation. He also called for more cooperation on human resources development and training.
Dos Santos hailed the role played by China in promoting Africa's peace and stability. He said Angola is looking forward to more Chinese investment and is ready to strengthen bilateral cooperation.
He hoped the two countries could further expand cooperation in areas including agriculture, industry, energy and finance, to push forward the bilateral strategic partnership. Endi
