Singapore stocks close 0.76 pct lower

Singapore stocks finished lower on Tuesday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) down 25.20 points, or 0.76 percent, to close at 3,295.13.

A total of 1.40 billion shares changed hands with turnover of 1. 32 billion Singapore dollars (976.3 million U.S. dollars).

Decliners outnumbered gainers 325 to 122, while 509 others finished unchanged.
