Tokyo stocks fall 0.80 pct in morning following losses in Europe, U.S. stocks

Tokyo stocks fell 0.80 percent on Tuesday morning tracking overnight losses in European and U.S. stocks.

The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average lost 164.25 points, or 0.80 percent, from Monday to 20,292.94. The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange moved down 14.04 points, or 0.84 percent, to 1,647.95.

Decliners were led by insurance, rubber products and steel products. Endi
