LME base metals close mixed on Monday

The base metals prices on the London Metal Exchange (LME) closed mixed on Monday.

Copper prices maintained near six-week low. Analysts predict copper price to keep a downward trend.

The three-month unofficial copper price increased 0.5 U.S. dollars, or 0.01 percent, to 5,947.5 U.S. dollars per tonne.

The three-month unofficial aluminium price increased 2.5 U.S. dollars, or 0.14 percent, to 1,743 U.S. dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial lead price lost 4 U.S. dollars, or 0.21 percent, to 1,926 U.S. dollars a tonne.

Besides, the three-month unofficial zinc price lost 8 U.S. dollars, or 0.37 percent, to 2,138 U.S. dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial nickel price increased 350 U.S. dollars, or 2.69 percent, to 13,375 U.S. dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial tin price lost 75 U.S. dollars, or 0.49 percent, to 15,275 U.S. dollars a tonne. Endit
