Former German international Miroslav Klose will play for one more season at Lazio in Italian Serie A, the veteran said on his social media on Monday.

"It is a decision I took with my heart," said the striker, who turns 37 on Tuesday. "My family and I feel very well in Rome and at Lazio."

Klose arrived at Lazio in 2011 from Bayern Munich of the Bundesliga. He had scored 47 goals in 115 games of Serie A.

According to his contract with Lazio, if he had 20 or more appearances in the last season, he would extend his contract till the end of next season.

The German has retired from the German national team after being part of the squad which won the World Cup in 2014. Endi
