Iran arrests former vice president over unknown charges

Former Iranian vice president was detained on Monday, said the Iranian Judiciary spokesman, without stating reasons for the arrest, according to official IRNA news agency.
Hamid Baqaei was summoned to the judiciary on Monday and he was detained, Gholam-Hossein Mohseni-Ejei, the spokesman, said, declining to talk about the charges against him. Baghaei served as Ahmadinejad's vice president in charge of executive affairs.
So far, two of the three deputies to the former president have been arrested.
Earlier this year, Mohammad-Reza Rahimi, the first vice president of Ahmadinejad, was sentenced to five years and three months in prison and was fined 10 billion rials (300,000 U.S. dollars) over financial corruption. He was also ordered to pay a compensation equivalent to 28.5 billion rials (855,000 dollars). Endit
