A court in Bangladesh's capital Dhaka has issued the arrest warrant for 28 opposition activists including a top leader in a case filed for a bomb attack on a bus in January during an anti-government action.

Judge Kamrul Hossain Mollah of Metropolitan Sessions Judge Court issued the arrest warrant on Sunday against Barrister Rafiqul Islam Miah, Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) standing committee member, and 27 others after accepting the charges leveled against 42 opposition leaders and activists in the case.

According to the case statement, the accused instigated their party fellows for the bomb attack on January 28 in Dhaka during the demonstration against Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's government.

Fourteen BNP men, including leaders Rizvi Ahmed and Mosaddek Ali Falu, are currently behind the bar in the case. Endi
