Vanuatu PM appoints new FM, justice minister

Xinhua, June 5, 2015 Adjust font size:

Vanuatu's Prime Minister Joe Natuman has appointed Kalvao Moli as the Pacific island country's new foreign minister and Hosea Nevu as the new justice minister, the Pacific Islands News Association (PINA) reported Friday.

Moli, an MP and former journalist, replaced Sato Kilman, who was sacked by Natuman for his willingness to support a no confidence motion against the prime minister.

Nevu, an MP, replaced Alfred Carlot, who did not turn up for Thursday evening's caucus held at the prime minister's office and was therefore dismissed from office.

With the two new ministerial appointments, Natuman said he now has a stable government. Endi
