LME base metals increase mostly on Wednesday

The base metals prices on the London Metal Exchange (LME) closed higher mostly on Wednesday, due to good economic data from China.
Activity in China's services sector accelerated in May, the HSBC/Markit Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) showed on Wednesday, as new business rose at the fastest pace in three years.
The headline PMI for May was 53.5, up from 52.9 in April and well above the 50-point level that separates expansion from contraction.
The three-month unofficial copper price increased 1.5 U.S. dollars, or 0.02 percent, to 6,032.5 dollars per tonne.
The three-month unofficial aluminium price increased 13.5 dollars, or 0.77 percent, to 1,759 dollars a tonne.
The three-month unofficial lead price increased 2 dollars, or 0.10 percent, to 1,930 dollars a tonne.
Besides, the three-month unofficial zinc price increased 4 dollars, or 0.18 percent, to 2,169 dollars a tonne.
The three-month unofficial nickel price lost 32.5 dollars, or 0.25 percent, to 13,037.5 dollars a tonne.
The three-month unofficial tin price lost 25 dollars, or 0.16 percent, to 15,500 dollars a tonne. Endit
