Serena Williams reaches French Open semifinals

Two-time champion Serena Williams brushed aside Italy's Sara Errani to reach the French Open semifinals at the French Open here on Wednesday.

The top seed defeated the 17th-seeded Errani 6-1, 6-3 to maintain unbeaten in all their nine meetings.

Williams, who won at Roland Garros in 2002 and 2012, will next face the winner between timea Bacsinszky of Swizterland and Belgium's Alison Van Uytvanck. Endi
