French stock market index down 0.41 pct on Tuesday

The French stock market benchmark index CAC 40 closed with a decrease of 0.41 percent at 5,004.46 points on Tuesday, down 20.84 points.

With the strong rebound of euro against dollar and Eurogroup president Jeroen Dijsselbloem denying an agreement with Greece being possible in the near future, the CAC 40 closed lower on Tuesday with 27 of the 40 selected companies experiencing decrease.

The top three gainers on Tuesday were ArcelorMittal, up 3.80 percent, Credit Agricole, up 2.37 percent, and Technip, up 1.96 percent.

The three companies whose stocks dropped most on Tuesday were Pernod Ricard, down 4.85 percent, Unibail-Rodamco, down 2.49 percent, and L'Oreal, down 2.28 percent.

In the previous trading day, the CAC 40 closed with a slight advance of 0.35 percent at 5,025.30 points, up 17.41 points. Endit
