French stock market index drops 2.53 pct on Friday

The French stock market benchmark index CAC 40 closed with a huge decrease of 2.53 percent at 5,007.89 points on Friday, down 129.94 points.

The CAC 40 closed lower on Friday with all of the 40 selected companies experiencing decrease.

The three companies whose stocks dropped most were Airbus Group, down 4.08 percent, AXA, down 3.50 percent, and Safran, down 3.48 percent.

In the previous trading day, the CAC 40 closed with a slight decrease of 0.86 percent at 5,137.83 points, down 44.7 points. Endit
