LME base metals decrease on Friday

The base metals prices on the London Metal Exchange (LME) closed lower on Friday, as the gloomy economic data from the U.S..

The U.S. economy shrank 0.7 percent in the first three months of 2015, compared to the same period last year.

The three-month unofficial copper price dropped 29.5 U.S. dollars, or 0.48 percent, to 6,068 U.S. dollars per tonne.

The three-month unofficial aluminium price lost 17 U.S. dollars, or 0.97 percent, to 1,743.5 U.S. dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial lead price lost 13 U.S. dollars, or 0.66 percent, to 1,953 U.S. dollars a tonne.

Besides, the three-month unofficial zinc price lost 29 U.S. dollars, or 1.31 percent, to 2,190 U.S. dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial nickel price lost 150 U.S. dollars, or 1.17 percent, to 12,662.5 U.S. dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial tin price lost 87.5 U.S. dollars, or 0.56 percent, to 15,437.5 U.S. dollars a tonne. Endit
